Content Requirements for Notification of Decision on Review

Once a decision on review has been reached, it must be adequately communicated to the claimant. The DOL regulations set forth specific requirements in this regard. Some of these requirements apply to all ERISA plans, while others apply only to health plans, and plans providing disability benefits.
